Violent Jesus

It is accepted to appear and also be gentle physically as that is one of the fruits of the spirit Gal 5:22.  BUT IT IS AN ERROR to be spiritually gentle !


Any believer of Jesus Christ that is spiritually gentle,cool in the place of prayer ,seriously need to wake up from slumber !

Many times,it was recorded in the bible that Jesus Christ went to mountains,sometime it will be said He hid Him self out to be alone. Doing what ?
Charging up Himself by and with the Power Of the Holy Ghost !  We must learn and be doing same !!

Our master Jesus Christ was never and is never spiritually gentle ! He said our heart should not be troubled that He had overcome!  From  what?

Of course from BATTLES! A gentle person does not go into war / battle. Jesus Christ is the LION of the tribe of Judah! A consuming fire!

We ought to like our master and leader!

Let’s consider just a few things as below showing Jesus Christ as a violent;

• Michael the arch angel is known as the Arch Angel of battles/wars and is subject to Jesus Christ

Principalities are forces of darkness, wickedness in higher places. It is written in Eph 6:12

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places (NKJV)

• And Jesus Christ is the head of all principalities according to Col 2:10 Jesus Christ is the head of all principalities Col2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: (KJV)

• It is also written that from the time of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent one taketh it by force! Matt 11:12. Jesus Christ never failed! He knows how to take things, by force.

Please note that we are not talking of physical fights. 2Cor10:3-5 3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; (KJV)

• Let’s consider also, the case of the two demon possessed men who on seeing Jesus Christ screamed out and shouted if Jesus Christ had come to destroy them before time. Why would they shout? They know Jesus is a violent destroyer of works and workers of iniquity!
  

Matt 8:29 When He had come to the other side, to the country of the Gergesenes, there met Him two demon-possessed men, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that no one could pass that way. 29 And suddenly they cried out, saying, "What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?"NKJV

• Jesus is a violent destroyer of works and workers of iniquity! For this reason, Jesus Christ came that He may destroy the works of satan. 1John3:8

• Did you notice the tone/ voice Jesus Christ used in calling Lazarus out of the tomb? It was said, with a LOUD voice and I guess also it’s a loud and angry voice against the demons holding Lazarus down. in John 11:43 ?

Our master Jesus, humility and gentleness is in total obedience to what the Father wants and says. In carrying out the Father’s will, He cares not what any man/power says, feels or thinks!

The violent and rugged side of Jesus Christ is noticed and witnessed anytime, anything dares to thwart or counter the Father’s will.

In summary, we need to understand and walk in the realm and power that Jesus Christ gave us when we accepted and believed Him. He said we will even do more than He did. Most believers don’t know who they are and what powers they carry.

It should be that whenever and wherever a believer appears, demons will scream out and run away! We need to know, walk and work in the will of our heavenly Father! We need to charge up our prayer lives,bible studies and be on fire all the time.

I pray for you that in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Almighty God opens your eyes of your hearts to understand who you are as a believer and what powers you have, and begin to walk in such to the glory of God’s name
