Beloved,
Do you remember King David and his adulterous sin and consequences?
David woke up one day,looking at his then ugly situation/status/predicament; full of regrets,remorse.He bowed his head and said"If Only my ways had been directed by the Word of God, I wouldn't have known these shame and disgrace.Ps119:5-6."No wonder in verse 71 he said," It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes."
Beloved many a times we are the reason behind the shame we pass through by not allowing the Word to direct us and for some,even when been directed we either choose not to follow or follow BUT NOT completely.
But there is good news !!
D good news is that no matter how bad a situation may seem, if we are STILL, we will see and learn what God is teaching us through such. Am a living witness to these.My past pains/afflictions made me to know God and am sincerely enjoying a whole lot now but sometimes I say to myself"If I had known Him like this before now".
D Lord by the power of His Word, wipe out anything that connects or wanting to connect you with shame, disgrace and reproach in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
