A Rebel is someone who exhibits great independence in thought and action. Someone who fights against a government or those who are in the authority. While rebellion is refusal to accept some authority, code or convention. That is , an organized opposition to authority.
1 Sam 15:23 So Samuel said:
" For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He also has rejected you from being king. (NKJV)
Most of the church leaders have cleverly avoided and manipulated some parts of the scripture / the truth, to suit what men want to hear instead of what they need to hear, which is the TRUTH!
2 Tim 4:2-5 Paul said
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.( NKJV)
Why will such be?
Phil 2:20-21
21 For all seek their own, not the things which are of Christ Jesus (NKJV)
Therefore,
If not,
According to the statements/life style and instructions, my Master and Lord Jesus Christ lived and left behind for us, that message is a total nonsense! Regardless of how highly placed the preacher/teacher is.
Christians are followers of Christ Jesus and admonished by Him while leaving the earth to follow His life style, for that is how the Father in heaven wants us to live.
While today’s Christian leaders condemn the practices of the Jews and frown at their non acceptance of Jesus Christ as the saviour, the church of Christ lead by their leaders still hold on to very many practices of the Jews especially in the areas of punishing their enemies and making merchandise of their members.
If Jesus Christ never killed anyone, never asked the Father to kill anyone, commanded us to love even our enemies, ready to face persecution to the extent of death, why should we rebel against what He said, practiced and admonished we do? Why are we stubborn?
Instead of seeking first the kingdom of God and its righteousness as commanded in Mt6:33; members / followers are been taught how to make money and live life of material abundance, neglecting their souls/eternity which ought to be first.
Christ admonished us in Matt6:44 to love our enemies as there is no difference between us and unbelievers if we love only them that love us.
But
We are saying NO! After all we have powers to kill and destroy! How do we watch our enemies humiliate us! How can we allow witches to live and so on?
May I remind you that such a person is fighting the leader/head of the church, who is Jesus Christ, the fellow is stubborn. Without mixing words, such a person is a REBEL and engages in rebellion, an idolater, a sinner.
If what Prophet Samuel said in 1Sam15:22-23 is right and which of course it is, then we have many rebels in the church today and thus many witches, many idolaters!
If also Exo22:18,”suffer not a witch to live”, should be put in place, many Christians will be put to death by Jesus Christ since they are rebels and witches. Well, time will tell! Hell fire is waiting for as many as are still painting, turning, tuning the truth and turning souls to hell!
No wonder,
Jesus Christ said concerning “believers” on the last day, in Matt 7:21-23 (more ref. Luke 6:46; 13:26, 27)
21 I never knew you "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' 23 And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness,” rebels of my words”
We should study our bible to show ourselves approved, rightly dividing the word of God. 2Tim2:15...Before you accept any statement from the pulpit/anywhere or act on same, please consult your bible and check what JESUS CHRIST said about such and how He reacted.
All we have passed, passing and will passing through, our Master Jesus Christ did and talked
about! Heb 4:15
15 This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same temptations we do, yet he did not sin. (NLT)
2 Cor 11:14-15
14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. (NKJV)
We need to be watchful and very careful! End time is here
