Many church leaders will miss heaven

1 Tim 6:9-10

But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. (NKJV)These are what we have in our churches today, sad part is that it more on the parts of the leaders, no wonder why they are afraid of death, afraid of ebola, afraid of evangelising certain areas BUT no longer afraid of God and lake of fire !

Now,

If people are very sure of a better life places other than where they are; they do everything they can to relocate. Some apply for visas, do all manner of manipulations, and take risks, some die in the desert to get to “the greener place”!

There was a reported case of someone that hid in the tyre compartments of air craft’s, staying there for hours! There are cases of many been squeezed in container like area of engines in ship! Lots of things that men do for a better life BECAUSE they heard or saw that life are better in another land, even when they are not sure if their case will be same with what they saw or heard.

If “un believers” can do all the stated and more, ready to die even when they are reported and verified cases of people that have died in the same process.

Why is it difficult of “born again Christians” to do the same

Today’s Christians and surprisingly more of the wealthy leaders
are afraid to die, quoting Ps118:17 all the time. Pray it every second, YOU MUST DIE ONE DAY! The truth of that scripture is that when we make heaven, WE WILL not die again but live to declare the works of God forever. You cannot live forever here, that’s a big lie...Of course not saying we cannot make reference to the portion while praying for a sick or dying person BUT the true revelation of living for ever is eternal life.

Back to our text, why are “born again Christians afraid of death? “

1.     Material things have hold of them, not just them having material things Mark 10:21-22

21 Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, "One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me."  22 But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.(NKJV).

The one million dollar question is “how many Christians including the rich shepherds / over seers can sell that which they have and give to the poor? Instead at above 60 years of age, they are still amassing wealth worth billions!

For who and for what?

Instead of preparing on how to return back to God.  

Lake of fire awaits many of them regardless of how highly anointed they are and whatever miracles/healings they did, not them but God did through them, except they come to their senses like the prodigal son did.

2.       They are not sure of their salvation .I love Paul because He was sure of His salvation and where he was going. He said in Phil 1:21-23,note what He said in verse 23

21 For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22 But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labour; yet what I shall choose I cannot tell. 23 For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better.

3.     They don’t believe that heaven is better than here and with mansions and Jesus Christ went to prepare a place for them. They don’t believe the master. For Jesus said in John 14:2 In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. (NKJV).

No wonder Jesus said while here on earth that Him, the son of man has nowhere to lay his head, WHILE TODAY Christians leaders do all manner of things to acquire and compete mansions! Otherwise, they say God is not with them and their ministries,and go for other sources to acquire powers to prove they are called from God.

Mark 8:36-37

36 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? 37 Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

(NKJV)

Let us be careful, amend our ways and walk right before God else we are doomed already!

4.     The early apostles were ready for death any time because they are sure of the revelation about heaven and eager to die, so they can meet with the Master Jesus Christ

 Rom 8:36

6 As it is written:"For Your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter."  How many Christian’s leaders are ready to give in their lives for the sake of the gospel? Living but dead, knowing it can happen any day.

Fear is from SATAN, whenever fear comes into any area of your life, think not twice and know that satan is coming in, so rebuke him immediately in the name of the Lord.

 Anyone that is afraid of death, regardless of who the person is, has a hold of devil at that moment!

God help and save His children, cause the truth to be done in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ
